I would say that this happens at even slower speeds such as 45/50 in real sharp twisties in the hills.
At least we have stereotyped this bike as being loose in the steering.
I have checked; the fork-race bearing, tube slider bushings for wear, fork alignment, fork oil & seals, axle spacing and wheel bearings. They are all good. Actually I have noticed the ridding habits mentioned above, after break-in (600 miles) the first time at high speeds (over 70mph), in buffeting winds.
Again, as you said it displays a real refreshing character--strutting slow ride--over the hills, down the road ("Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang"), and around the curves. IT IS THE BEST "SUNDAY-RIDING" BIKE THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN ON!!!! It's a nice prancing steed.
